Cherish the Treasure in You

March 30th, 2010

2Cr 4:7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.

We haven’t updated this blog for sometime now, but we are still excited to share that Holy Spirit is still doing amazing things these past 4 1/2 years in our midst and just feel  to share this short note with you today.   Many people have come to our place and have been touched by the Lord and baptized in the Holy Spirit quickly.  There is a strong manifest presence  of the Lord in our home as guests suddenly fall under His power when they visit.  He is trying to tell us again that Jesus is not far away, nor need to be sought after as if He is hidden.  The Treasure is in you!  I was in another province a couple of weeks ago, and the Lord orchestrated some incredible God encounters, miracles, baptisms and even amazing setting free of a brother.  Holy Spirit just led all the way over a 4 day period and I am still in such awe to have been a part of it!

The old garments don’t fit anymore.  It’s time to throw out the old ways, and the old teachings that don’t work.  “I hope so” is no good if it is not true.  Walking in untruth will only cause spiritual and physical frustration.  Holy Spirit will never reinforce our walking in untruth because He is the Spirit of Truth.   If He blessed our errors, then that would be detrimental to us.  Until now, He has shown grace in what we thought we believed.  Many people are being taught untruths, walking  around in untruths, believing in untruths.  Do you have doctrines that you have been taught and they don’t seem to work or are confusing?  But the Truth is always pure and Jesus is always found there.  Maybe it’s time to re-evaluate what you do really believe?  There will be greater anxiety and lack of peace if we don’t understand what He wanting to do and it’s not fun being frustrated.  There is a rest that is unspeakable, where Holy Spirit orders your steps and His presence is like a glove.  Go preach the fullness of the Gospel of Good News to someone!   Jesus loves you with an everlasting love and He wants you to be full… of Him only.  If you don’t know Jesus, why don’t you just ask Him to help you… I did that 30 years ago… He heard my cry and came and helped me… no regrets, just forever grateful!

What Is Revival?

February 1st, 2008

What is revival?
The word revival is derived from two Latin words, re which means ‘again’ and vivo which means ‘to live’; the literal meaning is ‘to live again’. It is a period of unusual blessing, often accompanied by visions, signs, deliverance and miracles. The fruit of revival is a revelation of God’s grace for right living and a deeper hunger for the things of God.

As believing adults we have no trouble with ‘useful’ miracles such as healing the blind. It is the ‘absurd’ miracles such as ‘turning water to wine’ or ‘walking on the water’ or ‘withering the fig tree’ or ‘glitter’ falling from the skies that bothers us. Yet God is free to act whenever and however He chooses. He needs no permission from you or me. The big takeout: God is revealing Himself is yet another way. It is not ‘heavenly entertainment’.

Why is God revealing himself to children?

Luke 2:12 says ‘And this will be a sign to you: you will find a baby wrapped, lying in a manger.’ Jesus was first revealed to us as a vulnerable baby. This continues in our times as well. We find that God reveals himself to children, giving visions and dreams. Psalms 8:6a states, ‘Out of the mouth of babes You have ordained strength.’

When is Jesus coming again?

No one can say with certainty when Jesus will come again. The Lord himself said that even the angels in heaven do not know the time. (Mark 13:32) We can however see the signs of the times that His coming is approaching. (Matt 24:3, Luke 21:7) Jesus said there was be wars, and rumours of war, revolutions, famine, disease, and earthquakes. (Math 24:6-7). Many signs have been fulfilled. The real question for all of us is: are we ready? He has promised that He will come in the twinkling of an eye.

2008 Happy New Year!

January 2nd, 2008

We thank the Lord for a wonderful year in 2007 and look forward to the fresh wind, refreshing water and best wine in the this coming year! “For the earth will be filled With the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, As the waters cover the sea.” Habakuk 2:14

May the Lord refresh you this year and draw you closer to Himself to be free to be who He made you to be… to have purpose and a hope for you and your loved ones… to give His love to your neighbors and friends.

If you don’t know that Jesus Christ is the Saviour, why don’t you ask Him into your life. Let Him show you who He is… He will, because He cannot deny Himself. May 2008 be life changing for you and turn your world upside down for Him. He is trustworthy and faithful and He loves you with an everlasting love. Don’t give up!… Ask Him to help you today! He longs to do so.

Blessings to all

The Baptism of the Holy Spirit

October 22nd, 2007

dove_flying.jpgIf God should one day come to us and inform us that He is taking us home, to Heaven, what would that mean for us? We may gather our family and friends together to say our last good-byes and to say to everyone ” I love you!”. Well, God had it all planned for His Son Jesus as well. Jesus was now being called home by His Father God. After being on the earth for 33 years, crucified and entombed for 3 days, rose again, and spent 40 days with His disciples teaching them all about the Kingdom of Heaven. The final minutes before He was to ascend to Heaven He speaks to His disciples one more time. According to Acts 1, He has one message to tell them. The King of Kings and Lord of Lords… you would think His last words on earth would be very important. He is not coming back to do the 12 disciple thing again. He is not coming back to be crucified again. This is it. The grand finale on earth. I am sure that His last words would be the most important! He speaks with a command to not leave Jerusalem until they receive the Promise of the Father. That they would be baptized with fire, baptized with the Holy Spirit. Just as in Acts, the wonder of the Baptism of the Holy Spirit is still available today to all who ask. If it were not important to be baptized in the Holy Spirit and speak in tongues, it surely would not have been Jesus’ final words. How can we not receive the Promise when it is from Him. You will be able to access the Kingdom of Heaven in such a way you have never known before. It is real, and Jesus wants you to receive today! We have seen many children and adults receive this wonderful Promise in the past 2 years. Just in the last 2 weeks we have seen 3 children and 2 adults receive their Baptism so easily and with such joy. We have seen the Lord baptize people without anyone even praying for them or laying hands on them! If there is such a time that we need the Holy Spirit Baptism, it is now… for us, for our children, even grandparents as we saw in British Columbia! We will be doing an in depth teaching of the Baptism soon … called “What They Didn’t Want You to Know”, watch for the announcement and time.

Dawn’s Testimony

May 23rd, 2007

We were invited to minister to the children at this Lutheran Renewal Canada Conference called “Awakening 2007” in Camrose, Alberta. We had a wonderful time and we have videos posted of what God did for the children there (check out the Pictures page). On the last evening of the Conference Saturday night, the following testimony occurred as Holy Spirit came to this sister, Dawn so beautifully and powerfully. The meeting had just finished and the guest speaker Brad Jersak had just given a wonderful message regarding communion. We were all about to leave as we exited the pews when a sister named Clarisse came up to me and asked if I could pray for her because she was ‘stuck’ as she put it. She was stuck in life and didn’t know what God wanted with her life. She appeared quite frustrated as she asked for prayer and had a look of like ” if God doesn’t touch my life soon” kind of look. I said to her that I don’t know what the problem is but the Holy Spirit knows everything. As I took her by the hands, the Lord began to touch her and she felt like fire and had to remove a jacket and sweater due to the heat and then her legs felt like they were on fire. I asked her to raise her hands and then blew on her and she went backwards and down straight as a board with eyes so wide open. She began to quiver under the presence of the Lord and lay there shaking. I felt to pray the Lord keep her down (until He was done working with her) by asking the Lord to ‘glue’ her down as we have seen in previous ministry occasions. She tried to lift up her torso to get up but sure enough she was glued down. Then she began to weep as the love of God poured all over her. She went silent after many minutes and then with an explosive burst, she began speaking in the heavenly language of tongues as the Holy Spirit gave her utterance, (Acts 2). After a time, she was completely at peace and rest as she continue to be ministered to by the Lord. During that time, her friend Dawn had been sitting beside her on the floor. I asked who she was and then asked if I could pray for her also. Her testimony describes in her own words the events that followed…
