Cherish the Treasure in You

March 30th, 2010

2Cr 4:7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.

We haven’t updated this blog for sometime now, but we are still excited to share that Holy Spirit is still doing amazing things these past 4 1/2 years in our midst and just feel  to share this short note with you today.   Many people have come to our place and have been touched by the Lord and baptized in the Holy Spirit quickly.  There is a strong manifest presence  of the Lord in our home as guests suddenly fall under His power when they visit.  He is trying to tell us again that Jesus is not far away, nor need to be sought after as if He is hidden.  The Treasure is in you!  I was in another province a couple of weeks ago, and the Lord orchestrated some incredible God encounters, miracles, baptisms and even amazing setting free of a brother.  Holy Spirit just led all the way over a 4 day period and I am still in such awe to have been a part of it!

The old garments don’t fit anymore.  It’s time to throw out the old ways, and the old teachings that don’t work.  “I hope so” is no good if it is not true.  Walking in untruth will only cause spiritual and physical frustration.  Holy Spirit will never reinforce our walking in untruth because He is the Spirit of Truth.   If He blessed our errors, then that would be detrimental to us.  Until now, He has shown grace in what we thought we believed.  Many people are being taught untruths, walking  around in untruths, believing in untruths.  Do you have doctrines that you have been taught and they don’t seem to work or are confusing?  But the Truth is always pure and Jesus is always found there.  Maybe it’s time to re-evaluate what you do really believe?  There will be greater anxiety and lack of peace if we don’t understand what He wanting to do and it’s not fun being frustrated.  There is a rest that is unspeakable, where Holy Spirit orders your steps and His presence is like a glove.  Go preach the fullness of the Gospel of Good News to someone!   Jesus loves you with an everlasting love and He wants you to be full… of Him only.  If you don’t know Jesus, why don’t you just ask Him to help you… I did that 30 years ago… He heard my cry and came and helped me… no regrets, just forever grateful!
